Redwood's Family Session

You will recognize a couple faces from past sessions ... baby C as a newborn & first year session, baby K in momma's belly & as a newborn, and now everyone is together for a great fall family shoot.  Love working with these guys - all so easy going and full of great smiles :)

Crosby's Fall Family Session :)

So excited that Crosby joined me the other weekend for a fall family session ... he was a dream to photograph as a newborn (check him out on blogs past 1) ... and not much has changed.  This session was quick - mostly because this family rocks the camera and Crosby is all grins - but also because, believe it or not, we got caught in rain storm :)

Here's some of my favorites from the session ... can't wait to see Crosby again when he's 1 - with those cheeks and incredible smile an end of session cake smash will definitely be the icing on the cake so to speak!

Fall Family Sessions

Well it's most certainly that time of year to catch the crisp, dry fall days when you can ... a time when families call me for sessions with the hopes of two things:

1. A sunny session with no rain, and
2. 'Just one shot of all of us looking/smiling!!'

Lol ... not always easy when little people are involved ;)  Ahh but rest assured many a moment has been frozen in time - and for some of you that means looking back one day and remembering that it was your 2 yr old who was actually calling the shots ;)

Love it.  The first of several posts to come over the next week or so to cover my 'leaves are a falling' sessions of the past couple weeks.  This one is a family you may recognize from past posts!  The girls are growing, mom and dad are still all smiles ... life is good.

Avery's big bro

So little miss Avery (scroll down a couple sessions) brought her big brother to her newborn session :)  He's only 15 months himself so still just a wee lad too!  What a cutie - he loved it daddy acted silly ;)  Thanks for the smiles Richard ... enjoy.

Happy 1st Birthday Charlie

Sweet little Charlie has turned ONE!  Oh Charlie where does the time go?  I so love watching my little newborn clients grow ... what an honour to photograph them again and again :)

Here's a couple from Charlies' session ... ahem about 6 weeks ago (yes I am a bad, bad blogger) which finished with a delicious Tracy Cakes cupcake :)

Meet Miss Avery

*Sigh* ... I am such a sucker for a great head of hair and full lips.  Meet Avery.  Didn't even think of putting a hat on her ... didn't want to cover all that goodness up :)

Miss M turns two ...

The most gorgeous little muffin came out with me on the hottest day in my photography history.  Cloverdale, no wind, 35C ... yet she looks incredible and stunning - I on the otherhand looked like I needed a shower!

We gathered flowers, climbed fences, then went for a swing.  I'd like to introduce her to my soon to be 2 little man ... I think they would make great buds :)

Thank you to M's auntie for truckin' it with us .. it was a hot one that I won't soon forget ;)  A sneak peak ...

9 months of pure Gorgeous!

Meet Annabelle.  She is the youngest of four.  She is so calm and content.  She has an amazing head of red locks.  She is gorgeous.

I have been photographing Annabelle since she was born and have photographed her family since they arrived in BC ... love to be a part of a family growing!

At 9 months old, this is one of the best and 'easiest' ages to photograph.  Anywhere from sitting up well to just before crawling - yet so many people don't think about capturing this age!  Hopefully these sneak peak will get you thinking otherwise ;)

Little A

Another sweet baby girl came to visit me today :)  Little A was already 5 weeks old but still very petite ... not so sleepy but a gorgeous little bundle for sure.  I thought for sure she was going to be a boy after our belly session with mom & dad ... geez was I ever wrong!

Kisses for Coltan JDRF Gala Fundraiser

A little something from our weekend - June 13th was the Walk to Cure Type 1 Diabetes, and our big event for team Kisses for Coltan.  My youngest was diagnosed almost a year ago and we would give anything for a cure for him and all the kids like him who battle with their blood glucose levels every second of the day.  Insulin is his life support ... but it is time for a cure.

On Sunday night 140 people gathered at Redwoods Golf Course for a great evening including a 45 lot live auction and a set of 11 signed sports photographs in a silent auction.
